Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos is being offered to Premier League clubs.
The German veteran comes off contract at the end of the season.
The Daily Star says both Manchester clubs, Newcastle and Chelsea have all been contact about Kroos' availability.
Kroos will be 34 in January and played for City manager Pep Guardiola at Bayern Munich, where he also came in contact with United boss Erik ten Hag.
Newcastle are also interested, where Kroos could arrive as cover for the suspended Sandro Tonali.
