Niko Kranjcar is backing QPR's move for former Tottenham teammate Jermain Defoe.

QPR hope to take Defoe on-loan before he moves formally to Toronto FC.

Kranjcar told the Fulham Chronicle: "Jermaine is a great professional and a great footballer. We would win every game if he comes in - that's how good he is."
