Kramaric happy with development at Leicester

Andrej Kramaric insists he is happy with his debut campaign with Leicester City.

Leicester pulled off a major coup during the January transfer window by luring Kramaric to the club despite competition from giants Chelsea.

However, the young striker struggled to adapt to life in England and managed only two goals in 13 appearances for the Foxes.

Despite his struggles though, Kramaric says he is satisfied with his time at the King Power Stadium so far and has promised to improve during the upcoming season.

"It was an amazing feeling," he told the Leicester Mercury regarding his debut goal at home in the 5-1 win over QPR on the final day of the season.

"It will be one of the best memories in my life. It is my pleasure to be here.

"I just want to say thank you to everyone - the club and the fans. This has been a great half-year for me and I just hope I will do it more next season.

"I am sure I will be better next season. It is a huge difference for me from the Croatian league. I didn't show my best, but I am just taking it step by step."
