KOR 2 - 0 GRE: South Korea record first win of WC 2010

The Korea Republic have become the first team to secure all three points in the 2010 World Cup after defeating Greece 2-0 in Port Elizabeth.

The Koreans got off to a perfect start when Kashima Antlers defender Lee Jung-Soo found himself unmarked at the backpost after a corner from Lee Young-Pyo and he made no mistake with his volley from close range to make it 1-0 after just seven minutes.

Greece could not make inroads after the opening goal and it only got worse for Otto Rehhagel's men seven minutes after half-time when South Korea captain Park Ji-Sung beat off the attention of two defenders before slotting home neatly past Alexandros Tzorvas to make it 2-0.
