Vincent Kompany says Manchester City cannot take Wigan Athletic lightly tomorrow night.

City go to the DW on the back of their defeat to Everton last week.

"Wigan seem to be safe now, but sometimes that can result in teams playing with less pressure, which we need to be aware of," Kompany told City's website.

"We have to make sure our home defeat to Everton was a one-off, defend well and take our chances. If we do that, we should take all three points.

"I can't remember us not reacting well after we've lost a game this season - in fact, we've won straight away every time so that proves that we come back determined and confident."
