Southampton boss Ronald Koeman says Champions League qualification is a possibility - with Dusan Tadic on fire.
Koeman claims he could inspire Saints into Europe this season.
"Tadic is a very good player," he said.
"He had some difficulty in the first few games of the season, but since then he has adapted which shows he is a great player because that is what great players do.
"He is important because he can score goals but his best quality is his assists.
"The qualities he brings are fantastic. He has the talent to be the best assister in the league as well as scoring goals himself.
"His position allows him to have a lot of freedom so it's certainly possible that he could be one of the best.
"If we have a top scorer in the team or a top assister then qualifying for the Champions League and finishing up the table is a big possibility.
"We can't make a conclusion after just eight games but maybe there will be a surprise this season.
"Game by game is the best way to achieve this. Teams like Arsenal and Liverpool have tough Champions League campaigns, which is difficult.
"Maybe there will be a surprise if you believe it is possible."
