Southampton boss Ronald Koeman insists qualifying for Europe would be like winning the league.
Southampton need to better Tottenham or Liverpool's results when they travel to Manchester City otherwise they will be relying on Arsenal winning the FA Cup to claim a Europa League place.
Saints boss Koeman said: "In our opinion if we reach European football it's the same as Chelsea winning the championship.
"It's a great achievement for the club, with all the changes that happened in the summer, really to fight until the last game to reach Europe is amazing.
"Normally big teams have maybe a bad month, but not a bad season because they have too much quality in their squads.
"It is about growing and reaching objectives and reaching European football and that means more interest to players, to bring players in.
"I think too many teams in the Premier League are too focused on avoiding relegation. They play for not losing the game, and we play to win. I think that's a different mentality."
