Former Manchester United and Rangers assistant manager Archie Knox has joined Sammy Lee's backroom team at Bolton Wanderers.

Wanderers have lined up Knox for the role of coaching coordinator.

Knox joins the club with immediate effect and will work closely with Lee and his three first team coaches - Gary Speed, Ricky Sbragia and Jimmy Phillips.
