Blackburn Rovers boss Paul Ince is set to add former Manchester United assistant manager Archie Knox to his backroom team in the coming days.

The Lancashire Evening Telegraph says the appointment of Knox as Ince's first-team coach is expected to be confirmed later this week.

Knox is currently in the process of agreeing a settlement with Bolton, who released him at the end of last season.
