Bolton Wanderers defender Knight insists they should be proud of their performance against Chelsea.

Their performance in the 1-0 defeat has put them a confident mood ahead of their weekend trip to Stoke City.

"We worked our socks off and put in a very good performance and made it very difficult for a very good Chelsea side," he said. "We stuck in there and gave a good account of ourselves.

"We created a number of chances and we were disappointed that we didn't get the decisions we deserved.

"At the moment it is in our hands; Stoke will be a tough game but we have the belief and now we have to get on with preparing for Saturday."
