Dutch legend Patrick Kluivert bears no resentment towards Ryan Giggs over his job at Manchester United.
Kluivert was tipped to be United manager Louis van Gaal's No2 at Old Trafford this season.
But he told the Mail on Sunday: "Louis said that he wanted the position of assistant coach to be someone from the club and that was reasonable. And it was also time to spread my wings and to do something on my own. But working with Louis was great because he gives you the freedom to train the team and that's the thing I appreciated."
