Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp will not risk Adam Lallana at Anfield on Wednesday evening in the Champions League clash with Spartak Moscow.
The 29-year-old was absent for the away wins at Stoke and Brighton in the last week after making his first appearance of the season as a substitute in the 1-1 draw with Chelsea last month.
"He is keen, how you can imagine, but meanwhile he is old enough to know there are a lot of important years to come for him, a lot of important games to come for him, and it's not about the next one - it's about being best prepared for all the rest," Klopp explains.
