Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand believes Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has a lot of hard work ahead of him to rebuild the Reds' squad into one that can compete for a Premier League title.
Speaking on BT Sport's coverage of Liverpool's Premier League clash with Manchester City, Ferdinand said he would actually consider replacing the Merseyside club's entire starting XI if he were manager.
"I would have loved to come here and play against this Liverpool team. I don't see a threat," Ferdinand said.
"I don't look at that team and think, he can hurt me. There is nothing to put you on the back foot at all.
"If I'm Jurgen Klopp, I'm a worried man. I'm thinking roll on to the next window.
"[I'd replace] the whole lot. You could potentially do them all if you wanted to.
"Nathaniel Clyne has been fairly consistent, (Jordan) Henderson is the captain so you wouldn't see him changing."
Perhaps Ferdinand's words were heard in the Reds camp as Liverpool managed to exact revenge on City with a 3-0 victory at Anfield following defeat in Sunday's Capital One Cup final at Wembley.
