Klopp has already made me feel at home at Liverpool – Caulker

Liverpool's latest signing Steven Caulker has given a glowing assessment of the reception he has already received from manager Jurgen Klopp.

The Reds have signed the QPR centre-back on a loan deal until the end of the season to shore up their injury-depleted defence.

The 24-year-old, who spent the first half of the campaign at Southampton, will be available to start the league game against Arsenal on Wednesday night after quickly integrating into Klopp's squad.

He told Liverpool's official website: "The manager has been very positive.

"He's welcomed me and said that there has obviously been a few injuries and so there was an opportunity for me to come here and play.

"He said if I come here and do well then who knows what the future holds? It's an exciting one for me and I am just raring to go now.

"He's a very famous manager and he has been across our TVs for the last however many months since he signed, so he's a very familiar face – and a very welcoming one as well. He's been top notch so far and he made me feel very much at home."
