Klinsmann targets top 15 after USA power past Bosnia

Juergen Klinsmann believes his USA side is catching up with the rest of the world.

The world's number 19 side came from behind to beat 13th-ranked Bosnia-Herzegovina 4-3 in a friendly in Sarajevo on Wednesday night leaving US boss Klinsmann buoyed by the result.

"I said at halftime (when down 2-0) that, 'We have a game here because I think we can play with Bosnia,'" Klinsmann said after the match.

"We have a good team as well. We have players that play in Europe in big clubs, too. And to stay confident, stay calm and start to create your chances.

"We're working on catching up. We want to break into the Top 15 in the world one day. We still have a way to go. But you can see that we are becoming more confident and we can really play the game.

"We came here to play, not to defend, not to counterbreak. We came here to play eye-to-eye and make the best out of it. Therefore we are very satisfied."

Edzin Dzeko and Vedad Ibisevic gave Bosnia a two-goal lead by the half-hour mark before the US kicked into gear, scoring four goals in 30 minutes, thanks to Eddie Johnson and a hat-trick from Jozy Altidore before Dzeko's second in the final minute.
