USA coach Jurgen Klinsmann is an early contender for the Aston Villa job. Villa sacked Paul Lambert yesterday after a wretched season.
The Mirror says Tim Sherwood is now the favourite for the Villa Park club's hot-seat, with USA national team boss Klinsmann also in the reckoning.
Lambert left insisting to pals that he would have kept the side up after successive 15th place finishes previously.
But fans lost belief and Villa are now likely to have caretaker duo Andy Marshall and Scott Marshall in charge for Sunday's FA Cup fifth round tie at home to Leicester.
