King hails Leicester rise from League One to Premier League champions

Leicester City's Andy King was immediately on Twitter after his club were crowned Premier League champions on Monday night.

The East Midlands club became the first team since the Blackburn Rovers of 1995 outside Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester City to win the top flight title in the Premier League era.

It has been a remarkable transformation under Claudio Ranieri as just over a year ago, the Foxes were dead bottom of the table when Nigel Pearson was in charge.

Leicester managed to haul themselves out of the relegation mire last season and they are now the kings of England.

They won the Championship in 2014 and the League One title in 2009 and midfielder King has been there for the entire ride.

The Leicester players will now celebrate ling and hard into the night as they get ready to lift the trophy at King Power Stadium after Saturday's home clash with Everton.
