Kilmarnock's Invincibile joins Socceroos in Ireland

Kilmarnock midfielder Danny Invincibile has been added to the Socceroos squad for Wednesday's international friendly with the Republic of Ireland. Pim Verbeek has called up the 30-year old uncapped midfielder to his largely European-based squad for the friendly to be played in Limerick.

Brisbane born and bred, Invincible began his professional football career in 1997 with the Brisbane Strikers in the former National Soccer League before moving to the Marconi Stallions. Invincible moved overseas in 2000 to join Swindon Town in the English Second Division where he stayed for three seasons before moving north to Kilmarnock in Scotland where has been since 2003 making 169 appearances and scoring 17 goals.
