Kilmarnock midfielder Craig Bryson is on his way to Derby County.
The Rugby Park captain will travel south on Monday to talk terms and undergo a medical.
Championship side Derby, who have also signed fellow Scotland cap Chris Maguire, had failed with three other bids for Bryson.
Killie chairman Michael Johnston said: "We were reluctant to sell Craig but he wanted to go.
"He feels it will benefit his career. He's been a very good servant to Kilmarnock so when Derby County reached our asking price we felt it was only fair to let him go."
