Kilmarnock happy with Celtic loanee Brown

Kilmarnock boss Jim Jefferies is impressed with the attitude of Celtic keeper Mark Brown who is on a six month loan deal at Rugby Park. "Mark's attitude has been fantastic," Jefferies said.

"He is keen to play and he has said that he wants to prove to people that he is still a good goalkeeper who can play at this level.

"And from what I've seen in training this week, he has the hunger to do well and that's what we want from him.

"It's not easy to get someone as good as Mark into your squad.

"Everybody wants three keepers and I didn't want to bring in another young keeper.

"We have Cameron Bell and Lee Robinson, good young keepers, but I needed to get some experience in.

"There were a couple of options but Mark came through because he has played in Scotland, and he played regularly at Inverness.

"I think he was always going to be the understudy for Boruc and he misses first team football.

"So it was ideal and it suits both parties."
