Kilmarnock begin season with new sponsor

QTS is to become the main sponsor of Kilmarnock, reports SportsPro. The British railway contractor has agreed a one-year deal with the for the 2012/13 season. Its logo will appear on the front of the Kilmarnock matchday jersey.

Alan McLeish, the director of QTS, said: "Everyone at QTS is really looking forward to supporting Killie, our local club. QTS and Killie share a very similar ethos, with community at the heart of both organisations and we both see ourselves very much as a family that pulls together to get the best possible results."

Kilmarnock chairman Michael Johnston added: "As soon as I met Alan McLeish, his enthusiasm for football and his genuine desire to support Kilmarnock FC as a team and as a vital component in the community was evident. Even now, at the inception of our relationship, I can say that QTS has already shown a willingness to engage with the club and a determination to be at the heart of the club's activities, which bode well for the future."
