Sunderland has continued their impressive pre-season form under new manager David Moyes.
The Black Cats secured the second consecutive win under Moyes as they earned a 3-2 win over Ligue 1 new boys Dijon on Wednesday.
Teenage striker Joel Asoro gave an early lead to the Black Cats, but his strike was cancelled out by Dylan Bahamboula early in the second half.
Wahbi Khazri put the Black Cats again in the lead with his 58th-minute strike, but the French side again managed to equalise through Jeremie Bela.
Fabio Borini finally won the tie for his side with a late penalty.
