Kewell nets in Gala' victory

Galatasaray have come from behind twice to snatch an epic 4-3 away win over Swiss club Bellinzona overnight with Aussie star Harry Kewell amongst the goals. The UEFA Cup first round tie was Kewell's debut European appearance with his new club and the win away from home has put them in an enviable position for the return leg on October 2nd at the Ali Sami Yen Stadium. Kewell equalised in the 39th minute after Bellinzona went ahead and also picked up a yellow card just prior to half-time. He has now scored three goals for his new club although one of them was in a pre-season cup match. Other Aussies in UEFA Cup action were Everton's Tim Cahill who had a 2-2 draw with Belgian club Standard Liege. Cahill played a full 90 minutes as he returns to full fitness and came close to scoring with a late header. Jacob Burns was in the Unirea Urziceni squad that drew 0-0 with German Club Hamburg SV.
