Arsenal hero Martin Keown says Manchester United defender Phil Jones should start for England against Poland on Tuesday.
Keown wrote in the Daily Mail: "England will be without Kyle Walker on Tuesday for the Poland game. It's a shame as he's started to settle into international football but it was a needless booking and a silly thing to do.
"So who does Roy Hodgson turn to now? He could use the players he has in the squad - Phil Jones or Chris Smalling - or call up Micah Richards or Carl Jenkinson. I think he has to trust the players he already has, otherwise what is the point of picking them? However, I'm never that comfortable with centre halves playing at full back. It creates a weakness in the team.
"Of the Manchester United pair, I would pick Jones ahead of Smalling. Jones' passing is better than his team-mate's and Smalling struggled there against Manchester City recently."
