Kennedy scores as Nagoya Grampus wins again

Josh Kennedy was again on target as Nagoya Grampus remained in third spot on the J-League table.

The Australian international netted his 10th league goal of the season in the 37th minute of the away clash against Yokohama F. Marinos which Nagoya eventually won 2-0 thanks to a 68th minute Danilson Cordoba goal.

Elsewhere in Japan, Shimzi S-Pulse produced a dazzling display to gun down lowly Shonan Bellmare 6-3. For the victors, Norwegian striker Frode Johnsen netted a hat-trick whilst Brazilian midfielder Emerson Santos scored twice for Shonan.

Kashima Antlers kept top spot with a 3-0 home win over Vissel Kobe thanks largely to a Takuya Nozawa double, Omiya Ardija defeated Urawa Reds 1-0 with ten men, Albirex Niigata won 2-1 at home against FC Tokyo, Cerezo Osaka had a solid 3-0 away win over Jubilo Iwata, Gamba Osaka saluted 1-0 at home over Montedio Yamagata, Hisato Sato scored a brace to ehlp Sanfrecce Hiroshima to a 3-0 victory over Kyoto Sanga and Kawasaki Frontale came from two goals down to edge Vegalta Sendai 3-2 to stay in fourth.
