Kennedy nets a double in huge Karlsruhe win

Socceroos striker Josh Kennedy netted a brace in Karlsruhe's 4-0 trouncing of Hertha Berlin. Despite the huge win, Karlsruhe were relegated on the final day of the German Bundesliga season whilst Hertha Berlin missed out on next season's inaugural Europa league.

Sebastian Freis and Maik Franz both scored before half-time and when Kennedy hit a left-foot volley from close range in the 62nd minute, the contest was effectively over.

Kennedy made the nightmare worse for Hertha when he headed home for his second and the teams fourth in the 72nd minute.
