West Bromwich Albion No2 Dave Kemp says they won't see Callum McManaman's best until next season.
The former Wigan Athletic winger joined the Baggies last month.
"He came here not 100 per cent fit," said Kemp.
"He'd been injured and getting him up to speed and keeping him up to speed is difficult when somebody come in in January.
"I think we will see the best of him next season when he has had a good pre-season with us because he is playing catch-up at the minute as he'd had so many problems with injuries."
