Tottenham's under fire keeper Heurelho Gomes saved well from Ji-Sung Park and an injury-time Ryan Giggs' free-kick to keep a 0-0 scoreline with Manchester United. Spurs boss Harry Redknapp praised the performance of his Brazilian stopper.
"I've got confidence in him," said Redknapp. "Whether I bring another keeper onto the staff is another matter.
Redknapp was encouraged by the stalemate against United but saw Jermaine Jenas and Jonathan Woodgate limp off with injuries, while Ledley King could not play because of his knee.
"It's a big headache," Redknapp admitted. "We're not overloaded. We've lost two centre-halves and haven't got cover apart from the two that played.
"We are short and we have too many games. We have the Uefa Cup this week and to be honest I wish we didn't."
