Keeper coach Parks exits Norwich for Aston Villa job

Tony Parks has joined Aston Villa as goalkeeping coach under new manager Tim Sherwood.

The 52-year old former Tottenham, Brentford and Falkirk gloveman has departed his role at Norwich City to step into the job at Villa Park where he will reunite with ex-Spurs boss Sherwood.

Parks worked alongside Sherwood at White Hart Lane but left when the new Villa boss was sacked in May 2014. He had spent six years in north London prior.

There has been a changing of the guard at Bodymoor Heath since Paul Lambert was sacked with Villa bringing back former assistant Kevin MacDonald last week along with first-team coach Mark Robson who followed Sherwood to the West Midlands club.
