Newcastle United boss Kevin Keegan has assured his fringe players they can have a future on Tyneside.
The likes of Alan Smith, Damien Duff and Charles N'Zogbia have been unable to contribute much to the Magpies' turnaround.
But Keegan said: "I think playing for their futures is too strong, but there are still players who have got a chance to stake a claim for next season. There is still a lot to play for."
