Blackburn Rovers boss Steve Kean is battling to keep his job.
The People says Anuradha Desai, chairwoman of the Venky's Group, is backing the Scot to remain in charge after leading Rovers to Premier League safety on the final day of the season.
But her brothers, Balaji and Venkatesh Rao, are believed to be less convinced about Kean.
The Blackburn co-owners are thought to want a more experienced manager at Ewood Park.
