Beram Kayal is confident he will be at his best for Celtic when next season kicks off.
The Israel international missed the second half of last season after undergoing ankle surgery in late December and despite returning for the final match of the championship campaign, he expects to be at full fitness after a strong pre-season with his national team.
"I hadn't done a lot of training before the end of the season because of my injury and I knew I needed more.
"For this reason I spoke with the Israel boss and we managed to organise everything so I could go into the camp only to have training and not to play in any of the games for the team.
"I managed to speak with Neil Lennon and explain the situation, which he was happy with.
"It enabled me to get back into training at a vital time then I was able to rest for the summer.""The summer was good for me because it was decided I would go with the national team for their camp," he said.
