Karim Rekik was delighted to make his Manchester City debut last week.

The youngster is regarded highly at City, but has seen several of his former Feyenoord youth teammates make their senior debuts ahead of him.

"I've set the bar high, but I'm not lying to myself. On my birthday, I was stuck here in the stands," said Rekik.

"But I believe in my chances and in the project of the club. Mentality is 50 percent."
