Harry Kane believes Tottenham Hotspur are now well-equipped to genuinely challenge for the Premier League this season.
Spurs ended up third after a late-season fall-away last term but with new signings Vincent Janssen, Victor Wanama and Moussa Sissoko now on board, Kane feels the North Londoners are ready for another title assault.
Last season's Golden Boot winner also believes Mauricio Pochettino has a squad capable of being competitive in the Champions League which kicks off against against Monaco at Wembley next Wednesday.
"I think we've got a stronger squad than last year," said Kane.
"We've added some great additions to the team. We've bought some great players in who have fitted in perfectly.
"So now we're ready, we've got a lot of games, being in the Champions League against tough opponents. We definitely feel we're ready to go and we're stronger than last year.
"The performances haven't been amazing. There's still room to improve. But we've got some good results against some tough teams.
"We hope to kick on now like we did last year, get some wins and go from there."
Tottenham, who sit seventh on the Premier League table after three matches, meet bottom-placed Stoke City at Bet365 Stadium on Saturday.
