Kaka admitted he was stunned by the manner of AC Milan's 3-0 win over Celtic on Tuesday.
The Rossoneri bounced back from some mediocre Serie A results to eventually cruise past the Hoops in Glasgow and Brazilian playmaker Kaka, who scored the opening goal, suggested it was easier than he had pictured.
"The day before the Celtic game I commented that we hadn't enjoyed good results for the last few matches," he said.
"That's given us cause for concern but against Celtic we were all relaxed, we all played well. It was fundamental for us to win, no matter how. We did it and it's satisfying but I was surprised by the manner and size of our 3-0 victory.
"This is a very important moment for us to turn around our season. This is the best moment possible for us to leave it all behind.
"Now it's down to us and Ajax for a place in the last 16 and the fact it's at home and we're facing each other makes us even more determined to progress."
