Kagawa refuses to turn on Man Utd boss Moyes: I must do better

Shinji Kagawa has refused to turn on Manchester United boss David Moyes after he was hooked during defeat to West Bromwich Albion.

It was his first Premier League start of the season and confirmed the suspicion that Moyes has little faith in the Japan midfielder.

A £17million buy from Borussia Dortmund last year, Kagawa said: "I thought that I would have been able to find some space to create the chances in the second half.

"In that sense, I was disappointed to have been substituted.

"Sure, I wasn't involved that much, I didn't touch the ball enough, but I was trying to be patient so I didn't feel that bad. However, I have to take this like some kind of message from the manager.

"I need to improve or I can't survive at this club. I have to take this in a positive way and try to do my best."
