Juventus have made a cheeky swap offer to Liverpool for Luis Suarez. The Daily Express says reports suggest that Liverpool have been eyeing midfielder Claudio Marchisio and defender Leonardo Bonucci in the January transfer window.
However, possibly as a way of signalling how highly they value the pair Juventus have responded by proposing Liverpool send Suarez in the other direction.
Suarez was the subject of a £40m bid from Arsenal over the summer but Liverpool insist the Uruguayan striker is not for sale, particularly given his form in the early part of this season.
Nevertheless, Juventus hope that if there's any chance Suarez might leave they might hold the assets in Marchisio and Bonucci to smooth a deal.
