Juventus are reviving interest for Zenit St Petersburg defender Bruno Alves.
Juve GM Beppe Marotta wants a new centre-half signing in January and is returning to long-term target Alves.
Alves, now 30-years-old, joined the Russian club in 2010 from Porto for a fee in the region of 23m.
It is being claimed that Juve could offer defender Leonardo Bonucci and striker Vincenzo Iaquinta for the central defender.
