Juventus striker David Trezeguet admits he was flattered by past talk of a swap move to AC Milan in exchange for Alberto Gilardino.

He said: "There were moments, not personal, in which the press has talked a lot about a trade and that Milan was watching me carefully. For me, this has always been an honour to know about that, because for a team like Milan to want you gives you extra motivation.

"However, I have always said that I am very well here and I hope to stay at Juve for a long time."
