Juventus and France star Paul Pogba is set to turn down an offer from Manchester City in favour of a move to La Liga champions Barcelona.

City are reportedly willing to splash £70m on the 22-year old, in a deal which would make Pogba one of the highest-paid midfielders in the world, but it is believed that his heart is set on a move to Spain.

A source said: "His options are unbelievable if he wants to leave Juventus, but he's told friends that Barcelona are his number one choice. The attraction is obvious."

The French midfielder has also attracted interest from some of Europe's biggest clubs including Chelsea, Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain and his former club Manchester United.
