Juventus made an attempt for Manchester United midfielder Anderson over the summer, it has been revealed.
Juve, says Sky Italia, made an attempt to open talks with United about a fee for Anderson before turning their attentions to Cagliari midfielder Radja Nainggolan.
With no new midfield signing made, Juve GM Beppe Marotta is still interested in Anderson and a January approach cannot be ruled out.
Anderson started his first game of the season on Saturday in victory over Crystal Palace.
