Juventus have made a move for Tottenham duo Toby Alderweireld and Christian Eriksen.

Juve are renowned for their willingness to target players on free transfers, and the signings of the Spurs duo would significantly bolster the reigning champions' ranks.

But they may also face competition from Inter, who are understood to have contacted Alderwiereld's representatives - with negotiations likely to be swiftly concluded, says the Daily Mail.

Juventus have already secured the cost effective arrivals of Aaron Ramsey and Adrien Rabiot this summer, but have been alerted by Tottenham's failure to tie down the two stars to fresh terms.
