Juventus midfielder Vidal favours Man Utd move over Real Madrid

Juventus midfielder Arturo Vidal is eager to move to Manchester United. The Daily Star says Vidal is wanted at United by new boss Louis Van Gaal as the Dutchman looks to get the club back on track after their dismal 2013-14 campaign.

Real Madrid and Bayern Munich are also interested in the Chile international.

And according to reports from Italy, Vidal is prepared to reject the advances of the Spanish giants as well as Arsenal and Chelsea in favour of a move to United.

Juventus do not want to sell their star midfielder this summer, but could be tempted into a deal if they receive a bid in the region of £48m.

It is thought Van Gaal is prepared to offer Vidal £250k-per-week in attempt to attract him to the north west.
