Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot has revisited turning down Manchester United over the summer.

Rabiot appeared all set to sign for United before performing a surprising about-face.

He recalled to La Gazzetta dello Sport: "It's true, there was contact with Premier League clubs, but in the end I was lucky enough to stay, it was perhaps the best decision.

"The Premier League is the most followed league, but I don't think about the future. I am focused on the WC.

"The club and I are in no rush, there is a calm, so we can consider all options."
