Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is expected to firm up his interest in Juventus midfielder Felipe Melo.

The Sunday Times says Melo has suffered in Italy since Juventus outbid Arsenal for his services last close season and would welcome the chance to move.

Wenger has been following the Brazilian since his days with Almeria and has confirmed his interest in the player this year.
