Juventus have made contact with Sevilla over a price for Diego Capel.

Having already landed Udinese winger Simone Pepe, Juve GM Beppe Marotta is now turning to Capel after being frustrated in talks for CSKA Moscow star Milos Krasic.

Marotta enjoys a good relationship with Sevilla president Jose Maria del Nido and hopes to talk down his initial €18 million valuation.

Capel, 22, missed out on Spain World Cup selection, but enjoys a big reputation across Europe.

Juve could drive down the asking price by including players in their offer. Del Nido, for his part, is a big fan of Juventus centre-forward Amauri.
