Juventus goalkeeper Gigi Buffon has branded Inter Milan coach Jose Mourinho "too clever" for his own good.

Buffon has hit out at Mourinho after his attack on Juve coach Claudio Ranieri this week and also said: "My esteem for him has not changed.

"However, if this attitude from him were to repeated several times, then I would review my opinion because there are two types of people I cannot stand: the stupid and those who are too clever.

"And you cannot say Mourinho is stupid ..."
