Juventus goalkeeper Gigi Buffon has declared he has no plans for retirement.
Indeed, the Russia World Cup in 2018 is a target for the veteran.
Buffon told L'Equipe: "I am old enough to understand that if I continue with this level physically and mentally I can guarantee myself another two or three years at a high level.
"This is not as a reserve, I want to be at 40 years old still number one. Only after that I'll begin to think about retirement, but in the years that remain I want to live them in the best possible way to show that even at 37 or 38 years a goalkeeper can be important.
"If I said that I do not think about the World Cup in Russia I would be lying."
