Juventus join Inter Milan at top of Serie A

Juventus has made light work of Genoa with a convincing 4-1 win in Serie A action overnight. The round 12 fixture was played on Thursday evening to allow for the weekend rugby union clash international at the same stadium.

Goals to Grygera, Amauri, Iaquinta and an own goal by Sokratis Papastathopoulos completed the scoring rout for Juventus to continue a winning streak of seven matches.

Diego Milito scored the consolation goal for the visitors from the penalty spot after Legrottaglie had handled.

The win launched Juventus into equal first spot on the Serie A table but having played one more match than co-leaders Inter, who face a tricky visit to Palermo on Sunday.
