Fiorentina are ready to cut loose on-loan England defender Micah Richards. Richards arrived in August on-loan from Manchester City, but he has failed to win over Fiorentina coach Vincenzo Montella.

Gazzetta.it says Fiorentina will not seek to take up a permanent option for Richards and could even send him back to City this month.

The defender's City deal expires in June and he hasn't spoken with management about new terms.

Juventus and Roberto Mancini's Inter Milan could still attempt to keep Richards in Italy.
